"With a chisel in one hand and a whimsical notion that somewhere in his lineage, the Flintstones might not just be a childhood cartoon but actual ancestors, Richard embarks on a unique artistic odyssey that transforms the steadfast stubbornness of rock into the fluid grace of animals, insects, birds, and plants"
"My focus will always be to continue to strive to create art that excites, inspires and expresses every part of our complex human condition."
"Miller is a self-taught painter who enjoys the freedom of abstract expressionism and loves bringing a sculptural element to her work with plaster and wood..."
"I fell in love with stained glass in highschool. After my intermediate life (job, family, etc) I tried fusing in 2013 where I fell in love with art glass again. I started fusing classes immediately so I could share as I learned..."
"It is my hope that my art will bring viewers into my drawings and paintings where they can explore and find joy and a connection to their own lives."
After 26 years, Kimberlee has returned to her art roots, once again. This time in an advanced version of the wet-on-wet painting method, currently referred to as Fluid Art.
Claudia's passion is the conservation of the natural world, and her goal is to portray the complex beauty of nature, capture the essence of wildlife, and inspire the viewer.
" I am still journeying through the chaos of the natural world, in hopes of restoring order within the confines of that rectangle. The goal is to create that elusive perfect image, while spending some quality time with the greater powers that be."
""Fabric has always had special meaning for me. When I hold fabric in my hands, I feel connected to all the generations of women who have come before. My studio is my happy place!
My work includes intriguing reflections, abstracts, architecture, and natural surroundings. Inspired by photographers such as Eugene Atget, my motto is “What I see is what you get.” My images (other than cropping & contrast adjustments) are straight out of the camera without digital manipulation, double exposures, etc.
