For as long as Elaine Pawski can remember, she has had the need to create. Elaine developed an interest in drawing and painting as a child and has studied the visual arts for most of her life. Elaine is a classically trained artist, with a BA in Art from the New Jersey City University, in NJ. Her work includes watercolor, colored pencils, and digital painting. Currently, she teaches a class at the Oregon Society of Artists entitled "An Artistic Approach to Procreate on the iPad."
Currently, she is a freelance designer and photographer. Rarely seen without a camera, she is constantly capturing the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, and often painting and drawing from her photographs.
Elaine is teaching a digital art class using Procreate at the Oregon Society of Artists (OSA) starting September 15th. This zoom class will be every Wednesday night from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm and covers how to draw and paint using an iPad. This class is great for learning how to plan oil and acrylic paintings ahead of time, or for creating digital works for print and design.
Elaine Pawski will be leading the critique group at OSA in September. The group meets on zoom every Tuesday from 6 pm - 7 pm. Each week, Elaine will lead an in-depth analysis of your work and you’ll learn insights from looking critically at work by other students as well. The one-hour session is limited to 5 people so that there is plenty of time for everyone to participate. All 2D is acceptable. 4 sessions are $85 for OSA members and $90 for non-members.
