I embrace reuse/recycle/repurpose in my personal life and my mosaic art. I can see and want to use things in new ways. My substrates range from scrap wood with knots and nail holes to cabinet doors, old cutting boards, old windows, and even wooden ceiling fan blades.

I love the hunt for interesting items to include in my art. Miscellaneous metal, rusty old hardware, nuts, bolts, chains, wire, hinges, deadbolts, screws, nails, and washers, Oh my! And then there is stained glass, pottery, tile, China, beads, bobbles, and old jewelry. The possibilities are endless and every piece I create is unique and personal.
